The View from My Backyard

I see this truck pull into the Safeway parking lot a couple times a week and I have to chuckle each time I read the banner.

  1. I wonder how many people see that same advert and think "yeah, that's true". Funny how a little change of perspective can make irrelevant so much of what marketing tries to push on us.

  4. yep, can't get any fresher than how many days, weeks they've been sitting -before- it gets to the store... I can't wait till we get our chicken area set up so I can get mine!

  6. Don't you just want to run out there and write in big letters underneath: "unless you have your own chickens!" (optional - 'and then you get to eat eggs that have been laid within a week or less, instead of....")

  8. hilarious! great work! i had friends visit me and nearly blow apart because i had eggs on the counter. they were sure we/they were gonna die because all those eggs werent in the fridge and obviously the eggs had been there A Very Long Time. i finally told them, "look pal, them eggs are from yesterday! i get over two dozen eggs a day. a weeks worth would fill the kitchen!"
