I thought the manual labor of pitting all those cherries was something I would never do again, unless I had a passel of kids to do it (not likely). I don't know how many cherries I had -- maybe a pint or two? I certainly did not have 21 POUNDS!!! <br /><br />In any case, the pie came out great.
